BIOTEC-Novartis Research Collaboration and Partnership started in 2005 and has been one of the successful scientific partnership between Local academic institute and Global pharmaceutical company. Over 10 year of collaboration, the collection of microorganisms has been substantially expanded with the discovery of many new novel natural products. Knowledge transfer and human resource develop has also been achieved through on-site training and internship programs.
